Golden Harvest Awards held the first screening tour in Yilan, showing 50 films in 20 free screenings at the Yilan Creativity Office and on the second floor of Yilan County Cultural Center.

CHANG Jinn-pei, an old friend of CTFA, took on the role of the 5th director of CTFA.

New director CHANG Jinn-pei published Minor Historiography: Chang  Jinn-Pei's Looking Back through the Film A City of Sadness. The book consists of behind-the-scenes photos by Cinematographer CHEN Shao-wei and interviews of 16 filmmakers, including HOU Hsiao-hsien, screenwriter CHU Tien-wen, and WU Nien-jen

Held the “Classic Chinese-language Musical Films Retrospective”, screening films from different eras that arouse memories of song and dance, including Street Angel, Love Without End, Angel of the Vineyard, The Phantom Lover, and the wildly successful film that premiered 3 years ago, Cape No. 7.

To commemorate the sudden passing of SHIH Jei-young, three-time Golden Horse winner for Best Original Film Score and champion of promoting film scoring for Taiwanese films, CTFA held the “SHIH Jei-young Film Music Retrospective”.

Held the “2011 Symposium of Taiwan History and Images” at the National Taiwan University of Arts. Former Director LEE Tien-young shared the results of the Digital Archives Program. The three seminars covered the themes - Taiwan Ethnic Groups, History and Images, Footage from the Japanese Rule Period, Preservation and Restoration, and Texts of Films.
