New Taipei City has abundant natural scenery, profound historical and cultural heritage, and convenient transportation, which continue to attract the film and television industry and talents. CHANG Ai-chin, Director-General of New Taipei City’s Department of Information, delivered a special report titled "Take off! Seeing New Taipei - Skyline of the Film and Television City" at a city council meeting. New Taipei City not only created a pilgrimage route for film and television enthusiasts and held the New Taipei Skyline Film Festival to promote documentaries internationally, but also plans to connect three major core areas, including TFAI's Phase 1 and 2 Venues in Xinzhuang, Linkou International Media Park, and FZ Fifteen Exhibition Center & Cinema, to form the New Taipei Film and Television Corridor. This will not only help the city grow, but will also enhance the city’s "vision".

Her Life is a Play: CHEN Shu-fang’s Little Big Life co-published with Yuan-Liou Publishing, was the first authorized biography by Golden Horse winner for Best Leading and Supporting Actress CHEN Shu-fang. The book covers over 60 years of ups and downs of the Taiwan film and television industry as witnessed by Chen.

The Taiwan Pavilion at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival was being jointly established for future promotions of Taiwan's documentary films and filmmakers. This initiative aims to promote the trade of Taiwan films, facilitate international networking, and encourage international co-productions. It also provides Taiwanese filmmakers with opportunities to interact with international talents.

Organized the “Love is in the Air: Taiwan Romance Classics” film festival, exclusively screening 7 Taiwanese-language romance films suitable for family viewing, including Foolish Bride, Naive Bridegroom starring SHIH Chun, Chin Mei (HSU Hsiu-chih), and CHOU Yo, as well as The Husband’s Secret starring CHANG Mei-yao and CHANG Pan-yang, inviting the audience to have a taste of the Taiwanese-style romance specific to the 60s and 70s.

Published Memories of an Actress, edited by TFAI and meticulously researched by Golden Comic Awards winner Jason CHIEN. Through actress Pai-hua’s point of view, the many faces of 1960s Taiwanese-language films are lively shown, as well as the filmmaking environment, people’s lives, and the professionalism at the time. It is our hope that readers will recall memories of Taiwan cinema from comic books.

The first stop of the 2023 TIDF screening tour at TFAI’s Xinzhuang building came to a close with the surprise appearance of internationally renowned documentary director Kidlat Tahimik. Tahimik shared his creative journey at the post-screening talk.

Organized the 228 special program, revisiting the 228 Incident and the subsequent White Terror period so as to prompt reflections. The program screened Super Citizen KO, and drew attention to the most heart-wrenching scene in the film where the character gestures “2” and “1” to represent Article 2, Section 1 of the "Criminal Code and the Punishment of Rebellion Act" as he walks towards the execution ground.
