Large / Cinema A

With 201 seats, Cinema A is one of two theaters in the only non-commercial cinema venue in Taiwan equipped with a 35mm projection system, a high-contrast RGB laser projector and Dolby Atmos®. With the industry's highest specification of 4K projection technology, the contrast ratio is three times that of ordinary cinema digital projectors. The sound effect field, supervised by the Golden Horse Award-winning sound master Tu Du-Chih, adopts the Dolby Atmos system to finely adjust the 52 independent speakers, which convey 128 channels of sound information at the same time. Film festival programs with various themes are regularly held in Cinema A, which is available for rent.

Small / Cinema B

With 52 seats, Cinema B is one of the two theaters in the only non-commercial cinema venue in Taiwan equipped with a 35mm projection system, a high-contrast RGB laser projector and Dolby Atmos®. With the industry's highest specification of 4K projection technology, the contrast ratio is three times that of ordinary cinema digital projectors. Created by Golden Horse Award-winning sound master Tu Du-Chih, the sound field adopts the Dolby Atmos system to finely adjust the 40 independent speakers distributed in the theater, which convey 128 channels of sound information at the same time. Film festival programs with various themes are regularly held in Cinema B, which is available for rent.

Multi-functional Room

The Multi-functional Room has a capacity of 30 seats (including tables). It is perfect for press conferences, launches, lectures, and lessons.

Ticketing Counter

Ticketing Counter is located on the first floor of the building, which provides ticket service, membership application, audio guide rental, visitor consultation, request for literature materials, lost and found, wheelchair, nursing room, AED medical assistance, magnifying glass, and others. Exhibition Space on the First Floor

The exhibition space on the first floor is where film artifacts are often put on display, such as MITCHELL 35mm cameras and BELL & HOWELL black and white printers. Themed film festival displays and events are also held in the space. There are multiple sections available for rent.

Library

Library is a membership-based special library that houses books and other materials related to film, television, and radio. To apply for membership, please go to the TFAI Membership Info on the website. The library has a reading area (18 seats), a compact shelving room and a audio-visual service area (9 individual seats, 2 group audiovisual rooms). The opening hours are from 1100 to 2000 from Wednesday to Sunday. The library has more than 30,000 books and periodicals, more than 4,000 audio and video discs, and more than 7,000 digital audio and video items. Its special collections include old periodicals, scripts, film festival manuals, newspaper clippings, digitally restored films, Taiwanese films, newsreels, Broadcasting Development Foundation programs, Golden Harvest Award films, short films funded by subsidiary grant and others. TFAI Lounge

Situated on the first floor, TFAI Lounge is a place where a warm wood tone complements its pure white inorganic décor. It is a comfortable and elegant environment in which exquisite western and Taiwanese meals, desserts and drinks are served.

Souvenir Shop

Located on the first floor of the venue, the souvenir shop has an entire wall of books and sells the most complete range of TFAI publications and cultural and creative merchandise, including "Fa Film Appreciation", DVDs of digitally restored films, cultural and creative merchandise, posters, and T-shirts for moviegoers.

Outdoor Plaza at Wenyi Road Entrance

Near the intersection of Wenyi Road and Fugui Road, the Plaza is a whole square space. From time to time, outdoor screenings, concerts, and bazaars are held in the Plaza and it is available for rent.
