To expand the Golden Horse Awards, Government Information Office organized a poster exhibition, displaying 58 posters at the Film Library.

CHEN Shou-jen, head of the Jung Tsun Enterprise, donated 8 films, including Taiwanese-language films, Lâu and Perfumed Fan; Mandarin-language film, Songs of the Peach Blossom River; and Western film, As Tears Go By.

Held King HU talks and screened 7 of his films, including Legend of the Mountain. King HU himself gave a speech titled “Traditional Chinese Drama and My Films”.

Held the “Golden Horse Best Narrative Features Festival”, screening best narrative features from the 1st to 16th awards, including Sun, Moon and Star.

Held the first “Golden Horse International Film Festival” at the New World Theater in Taipei, and saw great attendance.
