2023 TIDF on Tour
TIDF launches its tour programme for 2023 with the first stop at Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute (TFAI)! From January on, the 2023 TIDF on Tour will be traveling to different cities and venues with its acclaimed award-winning titles, TIDF Selection, Focus Programme on Independent Filipino Documentary, and DocuMemory programme.
Beside the screening of Why Is Yellow the Middle of the Rainbow?, the programme at TFAI also exclusively includes two critically acclaimed titles from his oeuvre– Perfumed Nightmare and Turumba, as well as inviting the filmmaker Kidlat TAHIMIK for an in-person master class along with various Q&A sessions.
In addition, an exclusive mini programme ‘Selected Shorts: Reconsidering the Goethe Institut Film Workshops’, reflecting the Institut’s influence on experimental filmmaking in the Philippines and beyond, will also be presented at TFAI in the Focus Programme on Independent Filipino Documentary. The programme co-curator Merv ESPINA will join us in an online discussion after one of the screenings.
