十二歲的妮娜想要成為一名作家，但是她卻寫不出好故事，為了練習寫作，她開始把每天的生活寫進筆記本裡。在寫作的過程中，她慢慢了解家人的過去，也聽到許多和過世的媽媽有關故事。透過文字，她學會面對思念，也更加認識真正的自己。
12-year-old Nina dreams of becoming a writer, but she can't come up with a good story. To practice writing, she begins recording her daily life in a notebook. As she writes, she gradually learns more about her family's past, hears many stories about her long-lost mother, and gains a deeper understanding of her true self.
