2021年秋天，當普丁政府將獨立記者和非政府組織，逐週列入「外國代理人」名單時，原本預計為期一週的劇情片田調，竟變成俄烏戰爭前四個月到戰爭發動後一週之間，俄羅斯本土情勢變化的重要見證。影片近距離記錄多位理念價值與國家機器相左的媒體記者，拍下他們在嚴峻時刻互相調侃化解焦慮；以及面臨入獄、「被消失」的危急感，仍堅持報導國家不願被揭露的真相。

俄裔美籍導演茱莉亞羅堤以不干擾被攝者的沉浸式拍攝方式，以一支iPhone手機和幾個收音麥克風，細膩捕捉生活在極端困境下的勇敢人性與韌性。

In autumn 2021, as Putin's regime blacklisted independent journalists as "foreign agents," a casually held iPhone witnessed a now-vanished space of resistance. Strikingly intimate, this documentary captures women, queer individuals, and activists braving surveillance to counter propaganda with dark humor, continuing until the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. What began as a week-long field study was upended by war, as historical upheaval completely overtook the filmmaker's original plan.
