瑪格麗特泰特，學醫出身，二戰後於羅馬學習電影，返英後獨立創作詩與影像。常以Bolex攝影機在日常採集影像，不追求壯闊，在意鳥、草、風、雪與人等更為細小的風景。不時在剪輯檯上回返、編織素材，讓感知取代情節，以影像書寫電影詩篇。

近年泰特被重新發現，被視為英國前衛影像的重要先驅。她曾言：「紀錄片容易讓真實失真，而詩卻能召來『在場』與共感。」，弗勒以散文式結構回應此信念，採用未公開的錄音、影片、手稿、殘片為基礎，循著未竟的拍攝計畫出發，前往她的故土奧克尼，以搖曳樹影、結霜花莖、蜿蜒曲徑等微物影像拼貼出「地方」的質地，與泰特的詩人目光對望。

Luke Fowler crafts a portrait of poet-filmmaker Margaret Tait from unheard recordings, rushes, notes, and an unrealised proposal, Heart landscape. Returning to Orkney, he follows her method: attend to small things—the bend of a road, frost on stems, light on stone. Rather than biography, the film composes a layered essay where realism meets poetry, embracing fragments and failure to restore presence—the feeling of being with a place, a voice, a practice.
