Seventeen cameras track Zidane in real time through a single 2005 match. Close-ups of breath and sweat alternate with distant, gliding views, while Mogwai's score swaps stadium frenzy for an introspective pulse. Shorn of commentary, the film sculpts a twenty-first-century portrait from motion and stillness, fame and solitude—a study of attention in which a superstar becomes a man in time, thinking, waiting, exploding into action.
