The story takes place in an era when humanity believed in inevitable progress. New inventions emerge but also attract criminals who exploit them. An engineer and a professor are kidnapped, and the professor's new explosives are used to pursue world domination. The engineer is isolated in a simple shack, trying to stop the villains and reveal the truth to the outside world. Facing enemies equipped with a powerful submarine and deadly weapons, can they strive to fight against evilness?
