妻子突然的出現，打斷了伊勢省吾與情婦晴美的祕密幽會。混亂中，伊勢殺了妻子，將屍體塞進汽車後車箱準備到郊外拋屍。原以為計畫天衣無縫，但當伊勢打開車廂，發現裡面竟然多了一具陌生的屍體。伊勢將兩具屍體丟進水壩裡，卻對於藏在死亡十字路的真相毫不知情。

井上梅次改編江户川亂步原著小說，呈現了一個一波三折、發展迅速的懸疑驚悚故事。一開始的夜間開車場景，讓人聯想到法國新浪潮名作《死刑台與電梯》，而主角躺在室內的俯視鏡頭，則讓人聯想到希區考克的《驚魂記》，這兩種元素都可見於林摶秋作品中的懸疑場景。

Adapted from Edogawa Ranpo's novel, esteemed director Umetsugu Inoue crafts a gripping thriller that unfolds around the discovery of an affair, ultimately spiraling into a chilling, mysterious murder. The film's opening, a night-driving scene, evokes resemblance to the French New Wave classic Elevator to the Gallows, while its distinctive use of tilted shots draws inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock's cinematic masterpiece, Psycho. With a keen eye for blending both Western and Japanese influences, Lin Tuan-chiu's Six Suspects navigates this rich stylistic terrain, offering a unique fusion that marks his work as truly one of a kind.
