韓戰期間，北韓戰俘盧奇秀窺見美軍傑克森的踢躂舞姿，受到強烈的節奏撼動，卻礙於敵對身分無法展露喜好。傑克森受上級指示籌組舞團以美化戰俘營形象，盧奇秀與反動份子秉三、中國戰俘小胖、翻譯少女判萊共組「Swing Kids」，一起奮力練習，期待有日站上舞台，不料急轉直下的騷亂情勢，讓眾人深陷危機。

《陽光姊妹淘》導演姜炯哲改編音樂劇《盧奇秀》，找來天團 EXO 成員都敬秀大秀舞技，以釜山外海的巨濟島戰俘營為背景，描述來自各國的軍官、戰俘、平民因歌舞而化解隔閡，卻又被捲入意識形態分裂下的殘酷鬥爭。漫天戰火下，人們懷抱幽微的夢想，停戰數十年後回望，只聞踢躂舞鞋的跫音仍在體育館裡寂寞迴盪。

Set in a POW camp on Geoje Island during the Korean War, the film follows Sergeant Jackson, who forms a dance group from prisoners. North Korean rebel Ki-soo, Chinese soldier Xiaofang, South Korean Kang, and translator Pan-Rae unite through dance despite the camp's political tensions. Together, they become the "Swing Kids," chasing their passion for dance amidst the chaos of war.
