改編自村上春樹短篇小說集《沒有女人的男人們》中之同名作品〈Drive My Car〉；知名的舞台劇演員及導演家福裕介在妻子意外驟逝兩年後，受邀為廣島戲劇節製作舞台劇。排戲期間因工作關係需要聘請汽車代駕而遇見沈默寡言的美沙紀，兩人在一趟趟安靜的車程中，漸漸瞭解彼此的過往，也解開了難解的心結，家福更發現了心愛妻子生前的秘密。

Based on the short stories from Men Without Women by Murakami Haruki, renowned actor and director Kafuku Yusuke receives an offer to direct a production at Hiroshima. There, he meets a taciturn young woman assigned by the festival to chauffeur him, with whom he confronts the painful truths of his late wife raised from his past.
