崇拜毛澤東的吳昊昊希望改變社會，也想移民美國，但努力總是落空，他拍攝大量網路短片，多數與性有關；女友寧寧喜歡藝文，希冀出名賺錢，但成績總是普普。他們兩人約定保持開放性的關係，各自保有自己的情人，對婚姻、生子以及家庭都有不同意見，生活中衝突不斷。在極為貼身、赤裸的鏡頭之下，兩人的靈魂與慾望無處可藏。

WU Haohao, a worshiper of MAO Zedong, describes himself as a video producer. He shoots a lot of videos, mostly with sexual content. He and his girlfriend try to function in an open relationship, which suits only one of the partners, while the other suffers and longs for a family life. The possibility of emigration to America is a hope, but it is gradually receding due to the worsening political situation.
