TFAI年度策展節目「她的新電影」聚焦臺灣新電影時期幕前幕後的女性影人，從演員／導演張艾嘉、演員楊惠姍、作家／編劇朱天文到副導／編劇許淑真等人，探索臺灣新電影女性電影工作者的貢獻，也還給她們在臺灣新電影中本該佔有的一席之地。此次延伸選錄臺灣新電影時期具有重要的女性角色作品，展現臺灣數十年間的女性轉變，這些影片不但提供對於臺灣新電影的另一觀點，也象徵女性在臺灣電影中至關重要的力量。

Taiwan New Cinema showed little of the female fimmakers at the time. With the TFAI Program - Through Her Vision: New Cinema Re-Imagined, they have finally been seen by the public. These selected films also show the progess of female status in Taiwan in the past few decades and provide another point of view of Taiwan New Cinema.
