九七將至，整個香港人心浮動。退休的老夫婦決定攜帶幼子移居澳洲，投靠早已來此的二女兒。可他鄉生活適應艱辛，百般無奈。二女兒也因與香港丈夫分隔二地，無法融入當地文化感到艱辛。遠嫁德國的大女兒惦記著香港與澳洲的家人。留在香港的小兒子尚且猶豫，既抗拒離開家鄉，又不得不面對整個家庭產生的變化。
　

Mr. Chan and his wife relocate from Hong Kong to suburban Australia to live near their daughter, Bing. Though other family members remain in Germany and Hong Kong, the parents of the Chan clan try to settle in Australia, along with two younger sons. Can Mr. and Mrs. Chan adjust to a vastly different life in Australia?
