三部恐怖影片，卻集結了一百多年前散播歡樂的經典身影：家喻戶曉的勞萊與哈台，但凡粉墨登場，狀況永遠層出不窮；卡通專家查爾斯鮑爾斯運用停格動畫，為自己打造最佳冒險拍檔；默片巨星麥克斯林戴穿著經典燕尾服，留著小翹鬍，能把任何困境詮釋出荒誕。當恐怖片遇上搞笑諧星，就算正統的陰森森氣氛令人不寒而慄，卻也令人憋笑到顫抖。
