In 1930s Mississippi, twin brothers open a juke joint as a musical sanctuary for the Black community. Yet, their peace is shattered when the mournful strains of a blues guitar summon an uninvited terror: a group of Irish vampires pursued by Choctaw hunters. Channeling Black Panther's themes of historical grief, director Ryan Coogler weaves a visceral horror about white supremacy and cultural plunder.
