Aspiring dancer Susie joins a prestigious Berlin academy, quickly becoming the artistic director's protégé. But as she replaces the lead dancer, she uncovers the school's horrifying, bloody history. Reimagining the horror classic, director Luca Guadagnino anchors this contemporary nightmare in 1977 Cold War Berlin to deconstruct post-war collective trauma. Blending feminism, folklore, and visceral body horror, the film features a stunning triple performance by Tilda Swinton and a haunting score by Thom Yorke.
