Adapted from Ariana Harwicz's novella, the film follows Grace and Jackson as they move into a remote Montana home. Grace's attempt to resume her writing career stalls as Jackson's frequent absences leave her increasingly isolated. After the birth of their child, she succumbs to postpartum depression and a collapsing sense of self. Their domestic sanctuary begins to unravel, exposing the fragility of love, identity, and motherhood.
