此片為導演亞柏賽拉長片首作。把小說的冒險轉化為一次關於行走與等待的冥想，不見英雄旅程，只見一種存在於現實與幻覺間的同行姿態。視覺極度克制，卻有繪畫的深邃與靜謐，讓人聯想到小津、布列松的電影。也呼應數位時代的實驗精神，用低成本與即興創作，探索電影的時間性與現實邊界。

Albert Serra strips Don Quixote to bare essentials: no windmills, no pageantry—only Quixote and Sancho wandering fields, resting, speaking of faith, thirst, and dreams. Shot in natural light with non-actors and long, patient takes, the film trades adventure for presence. Walking becomes thought; silence, a landscape. An anti-epic that turns Cervantes into a meditation on companionship, time, and the thin line between vision and everyday life.
