俗稱「狗仔隊」的刑事情報科跟蹤組，組員的樣貌平凡，以利他們進行跟蹤、監視及搜證。初出茅廬的「豬女」何家寶，跟著隊長「狗頭」黃文展，和同僚授命監視珠寶行劫案疑犯，卻發幕後另有主腦陳重山。陳重山是一名殺警逃犯，陰沉孤僻，多次策動打劫，對警察警覺戒備。「豬女」面對暴戾的重犯，幾次違背指令，陷同僚於險境，行動逐漸瀕臨失控。

穩坐銀河映像第三把交椅的游乃海，同時師承杜琪峯和韋家輝，是杜、韋之間一道非常重要的橋樑。他首次執導已見技法純熟，融合銀河映像的電影風格，更在戲裡借「狗頭」與「豬女」猶如師徒的關係，肯定自己戲外與杜、韋的師徒情義的重視。

Members of the Criminal Intelligence Bureau are chosen for their unremarkable appearance, allowing them to blend seamlessly into crowds while gathering evidence. A rookie, known as "Piggy," is assigned to work under a seasoned leader to monitor a robbery suspect. Yet, a shadowy figure emerges—an elusive fugitive orchestrating violent heists.
