When Love Comes is a story about how teenage girl Laichun confronts her hectic family life, unexpected pregnancy, and most important of all—her doubt about maternity. Things take an unexpected turn when Laichun’s father is admitted into the hospital. As the balance of power in the family has shifted, Laichun begins to see her family, particularly her mother and her autistic uncle, Jie, in a different light…
