舞蹈家許芳宜，在我心我行以舞蹈生涯的四個重要節點「啟萌」、「立志」、「揚名」、「歸國」構成敘事線。正處在交叉口間的許芳宜用十三支舞蹈《長河》、《高不勝寒》、《躍上枝頭》、《高牆》、《異鄉客》等來講述前二個十年，再用一場喪禮宣誓與自已的過去道別，迎戰未知的將來。

Martha Graham once said: "A dancer dies twice — once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful." Based on dancer Sheu Fang-yi's semi-autobiography, Salute depicts four periods in her career. Sheu has choreographed thirteen modern dances that embody her glorious achievements in the past two decades. Now she bids farewell to her past with a funeral and heads towards an unknown future.
