在遺世獨立的環山部落，瓦旦、晨皓、林山這三名即將國小畢業的學童，各自面對著不同的家庭困境，行動不便的拉娃老師熱心為這群部落孩子開設課輔班，提供溫暖的避風港。有天瓦旦發現了拉娃以前錄製的試唱帶，為裡頭的聲音驚艷，當三名小毛頭鼓起勇氣，帶著錄音帶勇闖台北後，他們的生活會發生什麼轉變呢？

導演選擇採用孩童視角，來呈現族人面對生命挫折時的單純與堅毅，舉重若輕地刻劃了隔代教養、青年離鄉等現實議題，以輕快基調拍出素人小演員們的純真神采。

Three plucky boys grow up in a secluded indigenous tribe in a mountain village. One day, they discover their handicapped teacher's musical audition tape and decide to bring the tape to Taipei. In this heartwarming coming-of-age film, Laha Mebow captures the simplicity and perseverance Indigenous peoples maintain in times of difficulty.

生長在山上的泰雅男孩，從小沉浸在部落文化，身體好似有個老靈魂，積極學習打獵、族語、口簧琴，著迷於先人文化的傳承。當面臨高中升學，他不得不離家下山，學習適應不同環境的改變，同時也對未來感到迷惘。本片試圖探討「原生文化的影響」，對部落孩子究竟是助力還是阻力？

陳潔瑤長時間貼身拍攝主人翁張祖鈞，紀錄他從稚氣未脫的小學生，一路長成青少年的巨大蛻變，在細膩的陪伴與凝望之中，思索部落年輕世代的掙扎。

The documentary short follows a young boy raised in a village up the mountain and immersed in Atayal culture. He actively joins a special school to learn more about his heritage, while facing the difficult choice to leave home to receive secondary education in the city. This film explores whether traditional culture is a helping force or rather an obstacle for indigenous kids who have to adapt to urban surroundings when growing up.
