父親耽溺於同性戀三溫暖的溫柔鄉，在餐廳擔任電梯小姐的母親則有外遇，小康也懷著無以名狀的情感。三人各懷心事，彼此卻像是陌生人，無法有所交集。在客串了一場浮屍的電影場景後，小康患上歪脖子的怪病，四處求醫卻始終無法痊癒。疾病是隱喻，如同這三人難以言說的慾望。

Hsiao-Kang's father regularly visits the bathroom and has sexual encounters with other men. His mother, on the other hand, is having affair with another man. Three of them, live in the same room but act like a stranger. One day, Hsiao-Kang developed severe neck pain, and any methods they tried couldn't relieve his pain, just like the struggle among this family.
