2018年初，喧囂的台北市中心突然出現一頂白色大帳篷，吸引一群共同憧憬的藝術家，想要打造一塊無拘無束與周遭共生的自由樂土—「草原自治區」的實驗計畫。在這塊草皮上，藝術家能毫無限制創作、人們能毫不拘束唱歌跳舞，當聚落越擴越大，烏托邦逐漸成形，卻在某個夜裡爆發驚駭的殺人分屍案，漫天的輿論壓力迫使實驗終止，自治區被政府強制清場，也打擊著爛漫青年的價值信仰。

經歷草原自治區的興起與幻滅，這一群被放逐的年輕生命該何去何從？
　

A young artist aims to build a settlement in Taipei, offering a place where create with total freedom and where people can sing and dance without any restrictions. As the Utopia gradually takes shape, when the shocking murder of a woman happens, the authorities demolish the settlement and these young artists gets chased out by the public opinion. Where would they go as they are forced into exile?
