年邁富翁重金尋找失散孫女，引起流浪歌手阿文和其搭檔的關注。某日，兩人在臺北街頭漫步，巧遇落難鞋童，與一位面容神似富翁孫女的賣花少女。同時，兩名小丑心懷不軌，企圖拐走少女以奪取獎金，掀起一陣混亂。追趕過程，阿文發現鞋童竟是女兒身，背上與所尋者有相同的胎記。苦尋千里之人原來近在眼前，祖孫一家終於破鏡重圓。

六〇年代，全臺掀起一陣文夏台語歌旋風，郭南宏參考日本演員小林旭在候鳥系列電影中的流浪吉他手形象，為文夏量身訂做《台北之夜》（1962），之後電影公司抓準時機推出「阿文哥流浪故事」系列，本片為該系列最終章，亦是該系列十部作品中如今僅存的一部，由寶島歌王文夏編劇、主演、填詞、主唱。片頭，文夏親自回顧系列精采片段，在作品皆已散佚的情況下尤顯可貴。全片音樂風格多元，英國披頭四、美國靈魂歌手史賴吉，乃至日本流行歌謠，皆巧妙入樂，文夏得意門生「文夏四姊妹」亦在片中引吭高歌。片外，文夏親自領軍四姊妹，隨片登台獻唱，每每放映萬人空巷，開啟台語歌唱片的黃金時代。

A wealthy old man looks for his long-lost granddaughter by distributing missing person posters. Wandering street singer Wen and his touring crew notice this advertisement and later befriend a child shoe shiner and a flower vendor who looks exactly like the missing girl. Meanwhile, two malicious clowns plot to kidnap the flower girl in order to exchange for the sizable reward money. Is the girl really that old man's missing granddaughter? This film is the final installment of the immensely popular Brother Wen's Tales of Wandering series of the 1960s. The titular male lead, legendary singer Wen Hsia, wrote the script and performed the songs for this lively and whimsical comedy. His eclectic soundtrack incorporates music elements from The Beatles, Percy Sledge, and Japanese folk songs, leaving an impressive mark in the history of Taiwan's pop culture.

The screenings are in loving memory of singer and actor Wen Hsia and actor Tuo Hsien (Chen Bing-nan), who passed away on April 6, 2022 and May 9, 2022 respectively.
