葡萄牙殖民地時期的澳門，清純的茶樓歌女美玲（張艾嘉 飾）與日本年輕球員中村（鶴見辰吾 飾）邂逅，二人短暫相戀繼而分離。10年後中村故地重遊，此時美玲已是紅牌交際花，與夜總會媽媽桑白蘭（姚煒 飾）相濡以沬共棲一室。美玲此時已染上毒癮，而中村亦純情不再成為毒販。二人重逢往事如煙，不勝唏噓之餘，白蘭更察覺中村另有目的，複雜的三角關係之下，發生了一段鮮為人知的謀殺案……。

This film depicts the story of the love affair between a small time chanteuse and her Japanese beau. They met when both were young and pretty and many years later he became a drug addict and she a fallen woman. This film is Yonfan’s homage to the classic Orson Welles drama set in the then Portuguese colony of Macau, and marks Yonfan’s first time collaboration with Asian superstar Sylvia Chang.
